About Dead Sea
The Dead Sea lies about 40 km from Jerusalem — roughly an hour's drive down through the Judean desert. Its extreme salinity makes every visitor float without effort, and the mineral-rich mud is famous worldwide. A day trip by private taxi is the easiest way to go: we drive you down in the morning, wait while you swim, and bring you back to Jerusalem the same day. On the way you can stop at the Ein Gedi oasis or continue on to Masada.
